Proforma: Invoice group option
Previously, invoices could already be displayed indifferent print formats such as Standard, Summary per day, Summary per stay and Detailed folio. This logic remains as is.
Sometimes guests would like to have items grouped on their invoice subject to the product. For example, group two separate products (room and breakfast) as one and give it one description: Bed& Breakfast.
On your proforma screen, select the PrintView option to get an impression of how the invoice will look like.
If needed, the description can be adjusted. Set the view back to Bookings, select the edit button of the product and amend the description.
Only users with the non-menu permission for Financial> Change group in proforma are able to apply custom grouping.
An additional configuration is added for packages, rates, and products. An extra field Invoice Grouping is added to the configuration. You may want to predefine some ofthe rates or products to a standard invoice grouping to apply on the invoicingscreen. By default, these are set to Standard.
